The Golden Sands resort is situated in a conservation area, which is a designated Bulgarian National park. The beach strip is 3.5 km long and up to 100 metres wide. The hotel is approximately 800 metres from the resort, where there are numerous restaurants, folk-style taverns, snack-bars and cafeterias scattered all over. Many aquatic sports can be practised in the area, and a yacht port with more than 100 docking places.
