This 4-star hotel offers comfortable, modern accommodation, and is located between the new HafenCity area and the exhibition and congress centre in Hamburg.
Thanks to excellent public transport connections, you can reach Hamburg’s city centre, as well as the main train station, in just a few minutes. Directly in front of the Mercure Hotel Hamburg City is a bus stop and, just a few minute’s walk away, an S-Bahn (city-rail) station.
In 2005 the hotel was completely renovated and it now boasts a stylish, journalistic design with rooms that are at least 24m² in size.
You can enjoy a hearty and delicious buffet breakfast here and discover the city by boat from the hotel’s own jetty.

Area information :
The hotel is an ideal base for discovering the landing bridges, the harbour, the Speicherstadt (warehouse city), the Alster canal or St. Michaelis' Church. You can also go shopping in nearby Mönckebergstraße or at the Gänsemarkt.

From the main railway station:
- Take bus 120, 124 or 112 as far as Lippeltstraße
- The hotel lies directly opposite the bus stop
OR
- Take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S3 or S31 towards Neugraben/Harburg, and get out at the next station (Hammerbrook)
- Continue along Hammerbrookstraße in the same direction in which you were travelling, until you reach a junction
- Turn right into Süderstraße and then right again into Amsinckstraße
- Follow the road for approximately 600 metres and you will see the hotel on the right-hand side
From the airport:
- Take the Jasper Airport Express to Hamburg’s main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and continue as described above
By car:
Coming from Berlin via the A24:
- Head towards the centre of the Hammerbrook district
Coming from Hanover via the A7:
- Take the exit HH-Süd/Elbbrücken and head towards the centre (Zentrum)
