Built in 1797 by the Duke of Devonshire, Lismore House is Ireland's oldest purpose-built hotel. It is a listed building and is very much part of the local heritage for which this small town is renowned. Lismore prides itself on its image with wonderful flowers, trees and shrubs including Lismore Castle Gardens and the Millennium Park.
