London  Yes, yes, you know it well, but still, London is the capital of Great Britain and England. Being the richest city of the Europe, London makes 17% of GB's GDP. London is one of the main business and finance centers of the world. Once capital of the global empire, London holds the leading position in culture, social community, politics, finance, entertainment and art of today. Besides, London is the most densely populated city in EU, its population is up to 14 million. People of different cultures, nationalities and religions, speaking different languages live there making the London most cosmopolitan, live and energetic city on Earth.

A lot of global organizations, institutions and international companies are based in London. It makes the city be the capital of tourists and business travelers just in line with New-York, Paris and Tokyo. Needless to say, getting such status would be impossible without well developed hotel industry to meet the requests of all kind. Hostels and cheap hotels in London, historic B&Bs, fancy hotels in London, glamour luxury hotels in London, private budget London accommodation - everybody will find the most suitable package for her/him. But remember that your budget will have a lot to do with what part of London you will want to stay in. With the excellent Tube available, where you stay won't limit what you see, but be sure to check where the closest tube station is to your London hotel. And one more thing, make sure you book a London hotel in advance to avoid surprises; you can save 30-40% by booking 2-3 months in advance.

Everybody may find something personally special in London. The big dipper "London eye" will take visitors 135 meters high above Themes. On the south side down the river you will find "Tate Modern" Museum with the most incredible collection of contemporary art masterpieces. 30000 shops and boutiques will exhaust any experienced shopper while 6000 restaurants will make you understand why British treat their cooks as celebrities. Those interested in cultural heritage of the country should first of all visit London Tower built in 11th century. Tower was re-built several times by different monarchs. One of the most interesting and pompous spectacle is the shift of the guard at Buckingham palace. As soon as last sun sparks stop reflecting in a dome of St.Peter's cathedral, London is ready for the bright night life. If you prefer something more fierily than dinner at a restaurant and outing to theatre, London may offer you a huge number of bars, night clubs and entertainments to anybody's taste.
