In the very heart of the city, right in the famous Vrijthof Square, you will find one of the oldest hotels in Maastricht, dating back to the 15th century. The hotel was rebuilt in the 1930s in the Art Deco style.
The hotel offers 41 rooms, with some overlooking the Vrijthof, as well as 2 party and reception halls/meeting rooms. The hotel also offers private parking (at an extra charge and on request only, subject to availability). In addition to the sister hotel's swimming pool, you can also use their solarium (extra charge) and/or sauna (extra charge).
The hotel is easily reached from the motorway and is only 10 km from Maastricht-Aachen Airport. Buses and taxis are within walking distance.

This hotel is located in the historic city centre, right in the famous Vrijthof Square, which can be overlooked from the unique breakfast room.
The hotel also offers Gauchos Grill restaurant on the ground floor and private parking for your convenience (please reserve in advance). Additionally, you can use the indoor swimming pool in the sister hotel, Grand Hotel de l’Empereur, free of charge.

By Car:
From Amsterdam / Heerlen / Aken (Aachen):
- When arriving in Maastricht, at the first set of traffic lights, turn right for Hasselt / Centrum.
- Follow signs for Hasselt and cross the bridge over the River Maas (Noorderbrug).
- At the roundabout, take Tongeren / Luik exit.
- After 250 metres, at the traffic lights, turn left for Centrum / Vrijthof.
- In Vrijthof Square, turn left onto Helmstraat, where you will find the hotel entrance and parking area.
From Luik (Liege):
- From the motorway, take the Hasselt / Centrum exit.
- Cross the River Maas (Kennedybrug) and follow signs for Hasselt.
- At the roundabout, follow signs for Centrum.
- After 250 metres, at the traffic lights, turn right for Centrum / Vrijthof.
- Continue as above.
By Train:
Take the bus from Maastricht Centraal railway station towards the market (city centre). From here, it is a 2-minute walk.
