Guests at this luxurious lodge are welcomed by a spectacular view over a pristine floodplain featuring frequent animal sightings, with the majestic Zuurberg Mountains as a backdrop.
Situated in the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, the lodge is within an hour’s drive from the coastal city of Port Elizabeth. Each of its contemporary and sumptuous suites includes a fireplace, outdoor shower and plunge pool.
The lodge and the elephant rides on offer were reviewed in the Sunday Times earlier in 2007: “A recent extension to the park is a… marine reserve off the Eastern Cape coast which gives Addo Elephant National Park the distinction of being the world’s first wildlife sanctuary that is home to the Big Seven – the traditional Big Five plus the Southern Right Whale and the Great White Shark.” Experience the real South Africa while also enjoying the beautiful landscape and natural environment.
Cancellation policy :
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 6 years are welcome.
One child from 6 to 11 years is charged ZAR 2070.00 per night and person in an extra bed.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

The lodge is situated in the Addo Elephant National Park Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape Province. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Woody Cape Nature Reserve, the airport and the city centre of Port Elizabeth. It is also approximately 2 hours from Darlington Lake Lodge.

Fly from Johannesburg international airport, Cape Town or Durban to Port Elizabeth airport.
By Car:
From Port Elizabeth:
- Travel along the N2 towards Grahamstown for approximately 65 km.
- Take the N10 crossover towards Paterson/Cradock at Paterson.
- Turn left at the Addo National Park sign onto the R342.
- After passing the first sign board travel 10 km, you will see the lodge gate on the right-hand side.
