On the newly created Grasslands Meander, this guest house is very centrally situated halfway between Durban and Johannesburg on the N3 motorway.

At the foothills of the beautiful Platberg Mountain in Harrismith, the Jewel of the Free State, lies our comfortable accommodation. Established by a mother and daughter team, we aim to provide South African hospitality and service.

Historical Harrismith, with its gracious old buildings, beautiful gardens and rich history, is surrounded by Boer War battlefields like Spionkop. You can also find historical sites for ‘Voortrekkers’ like Retiefklip, the Drakensberg Mountains and Golden Gate National Park. An airfield is situated right next to town.
