The Rambla, Barcelona's most famous landmark, meanders down from the Pl. de Catalunya to the Columbus statue, lined with newspaper kiosks, flower and animal stalls, and all kinds of artists. It is a place where everyone comes together, tourists and locals, from the most inconspicuous to the most exaggerated representatives of all sorts of urban tribes.
Of interest is the Miró Mosaic, the Liceu (Opera house) and the Mercat de la Boqueria.
